Not Me Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

I know I haven't done Not Me! Monday in awhile, but I'm feeling, ahem, guilty. Here's some stuff that did not happen in the Hingley Household this week:

- I did not nearly cry tears of joy on Tuesday when we found out that our second child is a girl. I most certainly was not afraid of having 2 boys under the age of 2, and I am not naive in thinking that it will be easier with one of each!

- I also did not eat cheese fries for dinner twice this week while on my break at Gymboree. I am not addicted to the ooey- gooey, fresh cut, cheesy goodness that is making my mouth water this very moment.

- I did not put about half my paycheck's worth of clothes on hold for my kids...NOPE, NOT ME!

- Another thing that I definitely did not do was take several 2 hour+ naps with William this week. I am not tempted to crawl in bed next to my sleeping babe and snuggle until our heart's content. I also have not been letting William take naps in our bed because it's easier that way. NOT ME!

- Furthermore, I don't have a library book that's a week overdue. I did not laugh so hard that I peed my pants last night. I am not loving this lovely fall weather. I did not continue a day trip on Monday, as planned, even though William got car sick....twice. We did not have to buy him 2 new outfits and completely air out my parent's Montero, nor did I freak out. I also did not participate in a wine tasting on the Northern Neck...I also did not enjoy it (don't freak, I probably had 3 oz. total).

Hmmm....can I think of any other things that a savvy, young, twenty-something mother wouldn't do? Nope, not me!

Not Me! Monday!

Here we go with round two of Not Me! Monday! I had so much fun with this post last week, I decided to make a tradition of it for your reading pleasure (well, and my writing pleasure too)!

Here are all the things I did not do over the past 2 weeks (since there was no Not Me! Monday! last week):

First off, I certainly did not take a tour of our hospital's Midwifery Center. On top of that, I definitely did not love every minute of it. Not me!

I also did not decide to quit my job and stay home with William this fall. I am not worried about finances, I am not questioning my decision, and I am not going to miss those adorable kids at the preschool. Not me!

We also have not eaten fast food nearly every day because that is just ridiculously unhealthy. Hamburgers and fries are definitely not a craving of mine these days! While on the topic of food, I also have not been indulging in my morning cup of coffee or an occasional Dr. Pepper. Oh, Lordy, Not me!

By the way, I definitely did not sleep in until 10:00 last Saturday morning and then take a nap when William did. I also did not sleep in again on Sunday morning. We also did not miss church again for the second Sunday in a row** (gasp)! Not me!

**Update: we did, in fact, make it yesterday!!

Oh yeah, I also did not have to wear a bathing suit bottom in lieu of underwear this week because I neglected our laundry. Not me!

I am not mad as heck at "April's Mom" for misleading an entire Christian group of bloggers. I am not frustrated, angry, hurt, or confused. Not me! (By the way, that's all I have to say about this subject...I am letting it pass)

It also was not me that put William in his crib this morning with his bottle (ahhhh...I know) so that I could go back to sleep. I'm not tired at all even though I'm not sleeping all the time. I also don't think that this baby and his/her big brother are sucking the life out of me! Not me!

Another thing I didn't do was buy a set of Pepto colored sheets because they were on sale and my husband said to get the cheap ones. Next time he won't say such silly things...that is, if I did do it, but it was not me!

...It's a good thing that I didn't do any of these things because if I did, you may just hop on over to another blog and decide not to follow ours! Phew, good thing it wasn't me!

Not me! Monday!

Welcome to Not Me! Monday! This blog carnival was created by MckMama. You can head over to her blog to read what she and everyone else have not been doing this week.

This is my first Not Me! Monday! post and I have a load of things that I certainly did not do this weekend. Let's get started, shall we?

First off, I most definitely did not stay in my pajamas the entire day last Friday. I also did not skip Bible Study...that was definitely not me.

I also did not have to go without underwear the entire day Saturday (wedding and all) because of a little pregnancy accident. Also, I did not just provide you with a little too much information. That was definitely not me.

Another thing that I obviously did not do is go through the DVR and erase all my husband's boring shows about the stock market to make room for more Lifetime shows. Nope, not me!

By the way, I didn't sleep in on a church day, spend way too much money at BJ's, get mad at a waiter because he wouldn't give me a stinkin' cheeseburger out on the patio (because apparently only drinks and dessert is allowed out there and I wanted meat), order 5 things off the $.99 menu at Wendy's, feed my son dinner at 9:30 at night (that was really the waiter's fault because of the cheeseburger incident), nurse my son twice last night (gasp), nor did I just put my son down for an early afternoon nap so I could have some peace and quiet.

See? Aren't you glad I didn't do all those things? Because if I had, you may decide I'm a raving lunatic and opt to leave this blog once and for all! Good thing it wasn't me!
